Video Tutorial: Triple Embossing With Intent!

This is one of my favourite take on triple embossing, as you can take advantage of the properties of various embossing powders! The finished project has a gorgeous faux metallic finish.

The video also gives a brief overview on how to use Melt-It, mixing and using Sparkles Premium Glitter to create 3D shapes. It also shows off how to highlight embossed surfaces with Fab Foils which really brings out the details. This is of my most favourite styl of classes to teach!

Click on the video below to see how I completed the whole project!

And here's a closeup of all that textured deliciousness:

Video Tutorial Making Easy Cards With Double Sided Tape

Today I'm here to show you one of my go to techniques for when I need to make a quick and easy card to send out to that special someone. Double sided tape is heat resistant so it can be used with your favourite WOW Embossing Powder or WOW Sparkles Premium Glitter or WOW Fab Foil!

Watch the video below to see how I created the cards. I would absolutely love it if you can leave any comments or feedback and I am working on improving my camera skills! :)

And here is a closer look at the finished cards that I made:

WOW Fab Foil ( Rose Gold and Turquoise); Sentiment from WOW Starburst Stampset

WOW Sparkles Premium Glitter (Seahorse, Santorini and Thistle), Sentiment from WOW Starburst Stampset
WOW Embossing Glitters (Neptune, Zeus, Black Twinkle), Diecut From Altenew Script Words 2

Workshops at Loobicrafts Vlog

A few days ago I was invited to teach at LoobiCrafts in Leighton Buzzard for the second time this year. I was of course delighted and said yes! They are a lovely store stocked to the rafters with all sorts of delicious papercrafting goodies. It is a family business run by a mother and daughter team Lynne and Lisa who provide amazing and personal customer service.

Picture of the store (borrowed from their Facebook Page), they have a separate Craft Studio especially for running workshops!

I thought it might be fun to do a video and "behind-the-scenes" clips for how I got ready for the workshops leading up to the day. I had an amazing time and all the ladies were so friendly and I think they had a good time, haha! Here is the video below, it feels very weird to see my face and hear my voice on video, but I thought this might be good practice for the future!

Here are the two classes that I taught using fabulous WOW Embossing Powder products:

I am going to be sharing more videos on how I made the above projects, which I will share here and on YouTube over the next few weeks.

Thank you for stopping by and hope that you have a wonderful day :)

Starting a New Chapter!

“The only true voyage would be not to travel through a hundred different lands with the same pair of eyes, but to see the same land through a hundred different pairs of eyes.”
Hello Loves,

I have been putting off writing a post for some time as I have so much to share and didn't know quite where to begin. So, I decided to start somewhere and maybe the words will flow a lot more easily :)

I have had an extraordinary year. I feel very blessed to be where I am right now in my little craft studio in our home. The leaves outside are beginning to become the colour of flames and the days are becoming colder ... and shorter. Normally I do not look forward to winter, but this year I am determined to embrace it!

What have I been doing these past few months? I have been teaching classes in shops, hosting workshops for WOW! Embossing Powder and for the London Stationery Show. Some of my creations can be seen in my here.

London Stationery Show April 2017

I've also had the honour of being published in a few Craft Magazines, and I have created a small gallery here!

Workshops at Loobi Crafts June 2017

I have decided to make the leap and make some MAJOR changes in my life this year, I have decided to branch out on my own and work freelance! I made the very scary decision to leave my job at WOW! Embossing Powder ... I have learnt so much over the 5 years that I have been with them, picking up new skills and developed personally and professionally. I will still continue to work with my beloved WOW Embossing Powders and you will see more of my work here on the blog, on Instagram and on YouTube!

WOW! Embossing Powder Retailer raining Day

I have challenged myself to post something everyday on Instagram for the month of September, so I decided to base all my main posts for the day on a theme which I called the "Dear Heart Project" which was an exercise to get me into the habit of sharing on a daily basis and to also get me to write more (something which I loved to do before I moved to the UK) and doing something beyond my comfort zone. I have had such an amazing response to the posts, where people have messaged me privately and spoken to me in person about how much they were affected by the words ... which made me feel very humbled. Thank you to everyone who has shared, liked and commented on the posts.

Dear Heart Project

Personally I have been looking after myself by exercising regularly, going for weekly swimming lessons (I used to be afraid of deep water yikes!) and consciously making better eating choices :) I have lost weight, gained muscle (my husband laughs at my delight in flexing my puny muscles heehee!) and feeling in the best shape that I have been in a very long time. If you have stuck with me reading through this huge post do take one thing away dear reader: Make Yourself a Priority.

Keep Swimming
Taking the plunge!

So what's next? I am planning on posting most regularly on my blog, I post on Instagram almost daily and there are Youtube videos in the works! :o I hope that you will join me on my journey, and I am hoping to make some announcements of more workshops coming soon. My next workshop will be at Loobi Crafts on the 10th of November, so if you would like to join me please contact Lisa and Lynne for more details.

Hello World!

Hi Everyone,

I have been MIA for quite some time now, but I am slowly getting back into gear! I have been busy cleaning up my blog, please leave me some comments on what you think of the layout and any feedback would be much appreciated :)

So what have I been upto in the last few months? I have been really busy with work, and travelling and all this while I have been missing the blogging world a LOT! I have been micro-blogging all this while on Instagram which I love, but it's not quite the same ... I have also been using Pinterest like a mad thing, and I hit 10k followers a few weeks ago which I think is crazy! Does this call for a giveaway? ;)

I have been doing a lot of shows with WOW! Embossing Powder: Trade shows in Frankfurt (Paperworld) and Birmingham (Craft Hobby and Stitch International) and also consumer shows at the NEC again called Hobbycrafts, which takes place in November. It does seem quite far off but considering the rate that the year has already flown by,  it will be here soooooon! Eeek! I will be demonstrating on our stand and Marion Emberson from Sugar and Spice Crafts will be teaching workshops on our stand E25. Come and see us, I love to meet blogging friends in person :D

The Uber Fab Marion Emberson
Meeting the very sweet Maya Isaksson from the WOW! Design Team
I work part time now for WOW! Embossing Powder looking after their Social Media and Marketing and I have continued to share a lot of behind the scene juiciness on the WOW channels which you can find here:

WOW! Embossing Powder

Please note: I am teaching at Keep on Crafting in Bury St Edmunds on the 6th of August and I would love it if you can join me! Please contact them directly to find out more details: LINK. Watch this space for more news on class announcements!

I also attended Blogtacular, a blogging event about a month ago which was absolutely amazing and a much needed kick up the backside for me to get my blog back into shape again. It takes place once a year and if you can, please do try to attend. I highly recommend it! I was lucky enough to have the company of the very sweet Kim Dellow while I was there who has since been very patiently asking me when I will start blogging again ;)

 Thanks Kim :D
Thanks for stopping by and I apologise for being such a bad blogger. I'll be updating the blog with more prettiness and sharing all the projects that I have made over the past few month.

Until next time, happy crafting lovely people!
